From Leo M in response to the post on the sculpture dedicated to indigenous serving soldiers:

Wonderful story Otto.

I always felt an affinity for those servicemen who were not recognised.

Same as the Nepalese Ghurkhas and the British Government.

Meanwhile, in the US, Presidential aspirant Donald Trump keeps getting Press for all the wrong reasons.

Example:

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. . . They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

- From a recent speech.

Then last week he tweeted the following message:

The problem was that the soldiers shown at the bottom right are wearing Nazi uniforms. Trump’s campaign said an intern created and posted the image by mistake and the offending tweet was taken down.

Strangely, Trump keeps getting more and more popular. The latest polls show fifty seven percent of Republicans see Trump favourably, versus 40 percent who do not.
