Silhouette Street Art

I was thinking of the Silhouette Man who used to be at Centrepoint, the chap who cut out your face as a silhouette with a pair of scissors and who would get amazing likenesses. He died in 2008 aged 89 and he will be the subject of a future Bytes. Has anyone else had a silhouette cut by him?

That started me thinking about silhouette street art. Looking into it I was again impressed by what can be done with some a little paint and some imagination.

The first dozen pics are by Kenny Random, the street name for an Italian street artist who works in silhouettes. Little is known about him.

And some others . . .

This last one, below, is not a silhouette painting but a shadow created by shining light against junk sculptures. That will also be the subject of a future Bytes.
